H&M seamlessly teams up with quirk-master Wes Anderson for the joyful short film, “Come Together.” What’s neat about it is that it feels entirely like a Wes Anderson film that just happens to be a compelling ad for clothing too. His distinct flair is fully intact: the precise framing, the boxy window views, the crisp whip-pans, the spunky color palette…even his frequently stalwart Adrien Brody is aboard. And though this Christmas-themed campaign arrived in anticipation for the holiday season, its message of peace and togetherness is one that we could use all year round.

So there you have it. Instead of sticking to traditional methods, why not create a striking piece of video content that has the power to move and tell stories? Content that can simply be viewed by the click of a button or a tap of the finger, content with a solidified location on the Internet that can be easily accessed at any time and from any place, content that can garner Likes, Retweets, Shares, website articles and more, while continuously reaching a wider and wider audience…

This is a trend that will only keep growing, but I don’t even want to call it a “trend,” because it’s likely here to stay.
