Blockbuster television at its finest. A cultural phenomenon. “Stranger Things” electrifies and levitates with its brilliant fusion of sci-fi, coming-of-age elements, mystery, fantasy, horror, conspiracy thriller hysteria, and good old ‘80s nostalgia, and it all works wonderfully. Amidst all the spectacle is a generous amount of humor and heart, along with classic themes of friendship. Combine this all with the intriguing plot lines, lovable characters, and excellent ensemble cast, and “Stranger Things” takes the cake — or should I say Eggo.
