"The Walking Dead Encounter" is An Augmented Reality App to See Walkers IRL

AMC's massively popular series "The Walking Dead" has partnered with Mountain Dew for a new augmented reality app called The Walking Dead Encounter. In a similar way to Pokémon Go, the app allows you to see flesh-hungry zombies, or, excuse me, "Walkers" out in the wild through the screen on your phone. It's pretty cool. Or should I say ugly cool. 

New versions of Walkers can be unlocked by tuning into Season 8 of “The Walking Dead”, which premiered Sunday October 22nd.

The Walking Dead Encounter is currently available on iOS and Android devices.
