Rachel Morrison is in talks to make her feature directorial debut.

Making history as the first female cinematographer to be nominated for an Academy Award, Rachel Morrison will now be making her feature directorial debut with the film "T-Rex".

The film is about boxer Claressa "T-Rex" Shields, who became the first American woman to win gold in Boxing at the 2012 Olympic games in London. The script was written by Academy Award winner, Barry Jenkins, who will also produce the film.The story of a female boxer coming up the ranks in Flint, Michigan is certain to be an inspirational story up on screen.
