The feature allows indie filmmakers to pitch directly to brands and agencies, democratizing a process that has, until now, closed out indie filmmakers...

In early September, Colaborator announced it would be testing a new Request for Proposal ("RFP") feature on our site. Using the feature, Colaborator members can pitch directly to brands and agencies looking for production services. The first agency we worked with was Digitas Health LifeBrandspart of the Publicis Group.

Digitas Health LifeBrands selected one of over forty Colaborators who sent in their proposals for a $3,500 production job at the Google Campus in Mountain View. They chose veteran photographer Ramin TalaieThe Colaborator team and Talaie traveled to Mountain View last week to complete the project.

The project was successfully completed, demonstrating the viability of Colaborator's RFP feature. From now on, Colaborator members will be able to send proposals directly to brands and agencies like Digitas for top production jobs, thus democratizing a process that, until now, was closed off to indie filmmakers. Now everyone will be able to compete for high-paying advertising production jobs!

Congratulations Mr. Talaie!
