Horror Film Festival Showcases Female Talent In Front and Behind the Camera

October is only days away, and that always means the transition into cooler weather, pumpkin-flavored everything, and horror movies. If you’re a fan of the genre and films made by female filmmakers, then this is the festival for you.

Women in Horror Film Festival was founded in 2016 by filmmakers Vanessa Ionta Wright and Samantha Kolesnik. The festival focuses on the horror genre in all its forms, and especially prides itself in showcasing female filmmakers, in front and behind the camera.

This year’s festival begins on October 4^th through the 7^th. It is held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Peachtree City, Georgia.
