Showtime announced the new series is in the works.

Lena Waithe, creator of The Chi, and Emmy-winning writer, will next be executive producing How to Make Love to a Black Woman (Who May Be Working Through Some Sh*t).

The series is created by Casallina Kisakye, who is also a writer for Waithe’s show, The Chi. It will be a half-hour comedy anthology that “unfolds a new collection of characters in an authentic world, telling stories about connection and rejection that explore our most harrowing — and harrowingly comic — sexual secrets.”

While the show’s still in development phase, there’s always time to check out Waithe’s other work. Her episode “Thanksgiving” of the hit Netflix’s show Master of None won her an Emmy in 2017. Season two of The Chi premieres April 7th. Check out the trailer below.
